In summer 2007 the Academie de la Roche D’Hys in collaboration with
the Centre of International Cultural Encounters hosted a 3 day
colloquium, called Rencontres Ciné/Cinéastes. 3 films , 3 film
producer/ directors from France, Israel/Poland, and Canada
met at La Roche D’Hys to share and exchange ideas on film
making . The 3 films each a different genre – 1 music documentary, 1
adult comedy and 1 serious fiction geared toward adolescent issues, were
screened before the public followed by an open panel discussion and
dialogue between participants and the audience.
