Reception and Concerts with the local Harmonie de Vitteaux which hosted their Swiss colleagues for a weekend of jam sessions and fun. 150 musicians participating.

First Garden Party in collaboration avec Les Ateliers D’Or
Introduction and presentation of the Centre for International Encounters and the Domaine des Arts project. Exhibitions, demonstrations in the art of book binding, Concerts :vocal, chamber music, poetry reading

Vernissage - Festival des EVAsions de la Peinture in collaboration with l’association  E.V.A 
Reception and Vernissage of 25 artists whose works are being exhibited in the barns of the villages throughout the valley of the Auxois region during the  week end festival

Seminars and residency of  8  Canadian wine professionals from the  Niagara region;

March 6  Dégustation  Franco/Canadienne:
participants held a public wine tasting of Canadian wines  audience of 75- 80 people present.  

July 14 -24 July   Violin Masterclasses with Alexandre Vinnitsky, celebrated Russian master.

October 2-10  First residency of the Sibelius Orchestra of Berlin at the Domaine des Arts for the study of new repertoire. The 50 musicians were housed in part at the Domaine and the rest in the surrounding villages by local members of the association

3 major concerts: These were the first outreach concerts. They received considerable press and media attention

*May 15 - 28 mai Residency Dancethéatre David Earle  Directed by the distiguished canadian choreographer David Earle, 7 dancers plus 1musician and technician. Object to develop a series of new works in contemporary dance for alternative venues.

June 23 Concert celebrating the Fete de Saint Cyr in Massingy. Singers participated in a special Mass Concert in the church followed by a Lieder Recital featuring the master class students

July 22  : Concert « Cabaret Surpris »  in the garden of the Town Hall of Vitteaux.

Free concert offered by innovative virtuoso guitarist Nicolas Dorleans in residence at La Roche D’Hys

July 29 Garden Party au Domaine des Arts ;  Jazz Concert  guitar, piano and vocal with artists in residence .

August 4 Vernissage du Festival des EVAsions de la Peinture 

August 18-25  Chamber music workshops with the Trio des Aulnes. 4 student piano trios  working with the professional trio on technique and selected repertoire.

August 25  Concert  12th century church of Saint Thibault  Trio des Aulne and the student trios

September 15 – Oct 1   Singers Workshop on  role study in preparation of Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte

October 1 – 10 2^nd residency  of Sibelius Orchestra of Berlin. Special project for the celebration of the Mozart Year. The orchestra working with the 6 singers chosen from international voice competitions representing Canada, China, France and Holland to rehearse and perform  Mozart’s opera Cosi Fan Tutte.

Orchestral Concert for public in the evening

October 7  Public Performance of Mozart’s, Cosi fan Tutte fully staged with orchestra at the  Sports Complex in Vitteaux  450 people in attendance

October 8 Orchestral Concert Sibelius Orchestra    Collégiale de Semur en Auxois.

 Following the performances in France the singers and the Orchestra traveled to Berlin to perform 2 more performances of Cosi Fan Tutte at the historic Ballhaus Rixdorf.
